SprutCAM Lathe
If the bulk of your work is 2 axis turning (lathe) work, then SprutCAM Lathe is what you need.
SprutCAM
includes it's very own simple to learn and use parametric 2D Geometry
creation tools. This allows you to very quickly and accurately generate
your own 2D geometry required for machining or fixtures etc.
Alternatively you can import 2D (e.g. *.dxf) or 3D (e.g. *.igs) directly into SprutCAM Lathe.
New in the lathe operations for SprutCAM 7 is the 'Save as default parameters' option which allows a completed machining operation to be saved by the user (tool / speeds feeds / depth of cut etc.) so that it can be reused in a later SprutCAM project.
This new feature is shown to good effect in the demonstration video available to watch at the bottom of this page.

Sprutcam Lathe has many simple and quick machining methods available including:

You can view a narrated demonstration video of a turned part being produced using the SprutCAM 7 Lathe software here.
This video shows the complete Part being prepared from beginning to end, that's geometry produced, machining calculated, g-code and setting sheet produced in less than 5 minutes!
